Horne 🇩🇰 Day 6

Snowfall overnight made for a pretty start to the day.

Beautiful food today again - morning tea has the usual chunky carrot sticks and sliced raw white beetroot to have with hummus, fruit and then Kim had made a home made chocolate spread out of leftover rye bread which was a crowd favourite on freshly baked bread.

Lunch - pita bread with pulled pork or turkey and salads including pickled squash and brussel sprouts! Was yummy with different ingredients than we would serve at home.

All morning the snow came down and so after my shift I made a snow angel on the school lawn 😂. The snow not really deep enough but was fun to do.

Then Kiri and I went for a 12km hike through the forest to the coast and back. The pine trees with snow piled on the branches and some melting too. Lots of people out taking dogs for their walk (no doggy jumpers!). We had hoped to climb to the top of the lighthouse but had closed early today. Such a different day from yesterday with snow clouds and sunset colours in the sky.

Kiri made us some Japanese gyoza and miso for dinner and Alex appeared with a Pandoro which we had with the chocolate sauce - Japan and Italy and Denmark dinner❤️

Followed by an Italian card game ✅

Cruisy snowy day 😊
