Llandudno - The Great Orme

Llandudno is a gorgeous Victorian era seaside village in the north of Wales.  The old hotels that border the promenade are beautifully maintained and grand with flower pots and bunting 😊.

The town is bordered by The Great Orme (Norse for Sea Serpent) which is a huge rock formation with a windy 20% gradient road and historic 1902 cable car.

The walk up was steep with magnificent views back to town and the bay.

Warning signs for mountain goats delivered with several sightings.

The wind was blustery and light rain added to the wild outdoor experience.  The 360 degree views further west to the edge of north Wales over rolling hills dotted with white sheep.

We decided to catch the historic cable car back down the very steep tracks.

The sun started to come out but the wind picked up for a bracing walk along the promenade.

A gorgeous part of the world 😊
