A day around the recreation site. This morning I was assigned to Bushcraft and the kids were engaged as we made a shelter from sticks and then learners how to make fire using a flint, and finished with cooked marshmallow S'mores 😊
This afternoon I was with the rock climbing team belaying for the large Scout group 3 hours. I enjoyed encouraging the ones who were a bit nervous and celebrating with the speedy ones.
We had a few games of pool tonight and I've been learning a complicated French card game 😊
