Oxford 🇬🇧

After dog walkies I made us a lovely brekky and then off we went to Oxford.

I had the absolute pleasure of a personalised tour by  Julie. The weather turned it on with a mid twenties sunny day.

We walked along the Thames with autumn colours, rowers, kayaks, canal boats and views across to Christ church.

We had a coffee and chai latte at a cute little cafe under the bridge.

We wandered past the oldest bookshop and the oldest coffee shop in England.

The Turf Tavern, oldest in England and visited by Bob Hawke.

Then to the Bodleian Library where a copy of every book published in England are kept in long tunnel filing rooms that go underground as far as Swindon!

Then to the covered market where we were fortunate to visit a book shop with a group playing instruments after have their coffee.

Then up to the rooftop for a snack with an amazing view of Oxford.

Back along the Thames again and saw a human sundial that was spot on.

Caught the bus back just in time to take the dogs for a walk.  22kms walked today and I'm on the lounge having a Netflix night 🤣
