Cotswolds to Oxford 🇬🇧

 28kms cycling + caught a train.

I took doggies for a last hike up to Hidcote, hosed them down as very muddy, did some housework at my house sit and then headed off on my loaded bike again for my next adventure.

Beautiful autumn leaves, villages, steep hills, great views.

My rural stay meant I saw squirrels, pheasants, partridge, deer, mole (hills on lawns), badgers (only road kill), rabbits almost daily ❤️

The day started out with gorgeous weather but storms predicted and so I opted to cycle a portion to the train, catch a train and then cycle from.Oxford to Julie's home.

Glad I did as I returned to the sconefest cafe to re-sample my first scone and yep, still a winner!

Oxford has such a wonderful feel to it and I headed off to Julie's place and mistimed for school finish time with students pouring onto the cycle path 🤣. Then the rain came down.  I was glad I had decided on the train and only had 10kms in the rain.

Lovely to see Julie again and she has kindly let me stay the night 😊
Tomorrow I will continue south.
